[002] Voice - Welcome Back

[Daria looks older since she was last seen, maybe even 30. Her looks have stabilized to something a little less painfully plain, though still intellectual, and her clothes suit her frame. However, she looks every bit as unimpressed as her younger self would.

She remembers how this goes, and turns on the voice feed for her version of letting people know she's back and seeing who's still here that she remembers. Surprisingly, that will be quite a lot of people.]

I thought I stopped having these dreams way back before college.

Must be nerves.

[She is also under the impression that her time in Luceti ended some time ago, and that she has inexplicably been brought back.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, it turns out.]

I'm not a fan of the military, but that probably depends on how quickly you could get them better trained.

And that depends on people's willingness to join up or listen to me. I get the feeling, after being here for a while, that not everyone is willing to jump when I say.

I'd like to think they're learning not to jump when anyone says.

[Though she has to admit... despite not liking the military, if this place is really at war, leadership and organization would be best.

If it's really at war. The stunning lack of those things makes her wonder what's really going on when the Malnosso claim there are battles.]

Ah...it's more like I've gotten some...reactions.

[ To her age or her gender. It's mildly annoying. ]

Not trusting in someone's skills because you haven't seen them is one thing. Not trusting them because of some other reason is another.

That makes sense. You want them to take you seriously. The problem is, they never will.

[Not because it's Astrid, but because she's a kid. Daria picks up on that right away, because even back home she'd never scored great victories without some help from, usually, her mother.]

Their problem, really.

[ Underestimating someone who can swing an axe is probably not the best idea. ]

[It's a mistake they won't make for long if Astrid gets mad enough over it.]

So why worry about what they think about it?

If I were to ask for a milita to form, I just doubt there'd be many volunteers willing to fall in. That's all.

There is some sort of girls' group forming, though. Kyoshi Warriors?

Don't think I've heard of them. Sounds like it's right up your alley, though. Are going to join up?
